REGENERATING LIPID+ CREAM

For dry or mature skin, apply to the facial skin as a day and night cream, while avoiding the eye area. For other skin types, the recommended use is as a night cream or during the colder seasons. If you use the cream in combination with other skincare products, they should be well absorbed by the skin before applying the cream.

REFORCYL^® (with cistus and jiaogulan, also called ‘five-leaf ginseng’) reactivates the lipid synthesis and strengthens the natural skin barrier as well as the antioxidant defense system. Jojoba oil is an oily vegetable wax that strengthens the skin’s natural lipid film and protects it from drying out. Retinyl palmitate, an alternative to retinol (vitamin A), is better tolerated by the skin and promotes the skin’s metabolism. It stimulates collagen and elastin, regulates melanin synthesis, reduces dark spots and smoothens the skin structure. Vitamin C (as Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate and Ascorbyl Palmitate) reduces dark spots, regenerates and heals the skin by strengthening the metabolism of the connective tissue, the collagen production and the skin barrier. It protects the skin from environmental influences. The Vitamin E derivative tocopherol firms the skin, protects against free radicals and slows down the aging process of the cells. It has a cellrenewing effect, inhibits inflammation and alleviates UV damage, while simultaneously binding moisture and smoothing the skin. The natural lipid Squalane is part of the skin’s own hydro-lipid film and generates a softer skin to the touch. Hyaluronic acid binds moisture to the upper layer of the skin and compensates for the age-related decline in natural hyaluronan in the connective tissues. This allows the skin to store more moisture and creates a swelling effect which ‘cushions’ the wrinkles from the inside, making the skin appear smoother. In addition, hyaluronan has an antioxidant effect and protects against UV damage. Panthenol inhibits inflammation, soothes the skin and supports the healing of stressed areas. It promotes the energy metabolism, stimulates cell division and supports the moisture balance. Ceramides support the natural balance of the skin’s metabolism. Sodium salt and Lactic acid (a natural component of the protective acid mantle of the skin) stabilizes the pH value and inhibits the growth of fungal or bacterial microorganisms. Allantoin soothes the skin, reduces its sebum production and accelerates the regeneration and cell renewal. Lecithin from essential fatty acids has a lipid replenishing effect, increases the skin’s breathing intensity as a building material for cell membranes and regulates skin renewal.
